Testing Nootropics for purity / safety - which ones do you want to see tested?

Original post in this thread

drmedicalgrade · 44 points

I work in a food testing lab and plan on testing some hardrhino piracetam for purity and safety (from heavy metals and food toxins) - since this is the one I primarily consume.

I put together a survey for people to chime in on what they want to see tested - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XjoakfGr0_Ee4F972PTHcneitTit43mxZxlbppe6A2w/viewform

If there's a lot of interest, I'll test the 3 - 4 most popular nootropics (provided they aren't prohibitively expensive to obtain), and publish the results here.

Very cool. Us moderators are setting up testing right now too. I just shipped a batch of HSW oxiracetam, aniracetam, and pramiracetam to the lab. We are also setting up a plan for randomly testing products from vendors. The testing is going to be paid for by donations from vendors, which will get them recognized as being a supporter in our FAQ section. We should probably coordinate so we don't test the same racetams twice.

What hasn't worked for you

Replying to mind_in_a_box · So far, nothing worked for me. l-tyrosine, l-theanine, noopept, aniracetam, pramiracetam, oxiracetam. yes, I took a choline source with the racetams. first alpha gpc, then bitart

Try something other than a racetam. I barely use racetams anymore. There are a lot more effective things out there.

Replying to Megatron_McLargeHuge · I though it was about Tianeptine. Or was that a different case?

Tianeptine, adrafinil, piracetam, aniracetam, oxiracetam, phenylpiracetam, pramiracetam, etc. You can read my long comment on it above. We had stopped selling tianeptine years prior to the government coming into our faci

I'll copy what I wrote on another post so you can choose which ones to read. There are a few in there about pramiracetam. [Piracetam affects membrane fluidity in the frontal cortex, the hippocampus, and the striatum. It
