99% of the time an empty stomach is best. There are exceptions, but you will be fine the majority of the time with an empty stomach.

Depends on the veggie cap and substance. Our normal veggie caps dissolve super quickly in the stomach. We are testing out some coated capsules that stay intact till the intestines, but none of our products have those yet

Sulbutiamine has a LogP of less than 5. It's not super water soluble, but it is moderately so. The main issue with sulbutiamine is P-glycoprotein. So similar to curcumin.
