i found this on ebay; https://www.ebay.com/itm/Real-Cordyceps-militaris-Mushrooms-Grown-On-Live-Silkworms-Authentic-Whole/292777195094?hash=item442ae17656:m:m0eY1YSuC_bXfTnIHIv8LPQ and its the only actual real cordyceps coming out of the silkworm directly thats actually on sell anywhere. i wonder if anyone had something so straight from the source before? it doesnt seem as expensive as they usually go for which is interesting. i suppose more people are able to try and report then.

you said you were doing mushroom extracts for a while. do you think they might have been involved helping you deal with your disturbed microbiome? there is a lot of research on mushrooms as being prebiotics. take them with probiotics, they probably can stabilize the microbiome? im just genuinely curious about this. if someone else can add to this, please DO! as far as i know there is lots of information on mushrooms as prebiotics. and some studies suggesting, as i mentioned before, interaction with mushroom's active compounds and our microbiome basically influencing their positive outcome on us. i still stand by the fact, IF lions mane is any good for your brain mushroom, im certain it has to do with its metabolite derivatives based on our microbiome and NOT as popular belief would lead us, that it actually DIRECTLY somehow interacts with your brain. which of course, if you know any basic biochemistry, is impossible. UNLESS you inject them? or have them manufactured as NGF eye drops!?
anyway, thanks for your input Mister, I really do appreciate it. I sure hope others contribute to this as well. Im having serious problems gathering enough information regarding this topic. Well, within the past few years or so that I have been investing myself with it. I wish it changes :/

It's very possible. We still have so much to learn with our microbiome. Prebiotics are just as crucial, if not more so, than probiotics. You have to get a proper environment for the good bacteria to thrive in your GI tract. Epicor absolutely changed my health for the better. That's a yeast extract, not fungi. However, the beta-glucans in it are similar to some in mushrooms. The immune boosting ones are usually the β-1,3-glucans with long β-1,6 branches. Those are in mushrooms, too. So I know Epicor helped get my microbiome back in health. I am sure some of the mushrooms played a role as well. The gut-brain-axis is a whole new frontier that I think will get very big in the coming years. Most people don't even know that your cognition and mood can be affected by your gut.
