i found this on ebay; https://www.ebay.com/itm/Real-Cordyceps-militaris-Mushrooms-Grown-On-Live-Silkworms-Authentic-Whole/292777195094?hash=item442ae17656:m:m0eY1YSuC_bXfTnIHIv8LPQ and its the only actual real cordyceps coming out of the silkworm directly thats actually on sell anywhere. i wonder if anyone had something so straight from the source before? it doesnt seem as expensive as they usually go for which is interesting. i suppose more people are able to try and report then.

What they were answering

"In fact, Stamets' cordyceps mycelium rice was really high in cordycepin, but I didn't feel shit after taking it"
- I didnt feel shit from taking ANY Stamets product, honestly! LOL
I was so let down by that asshole. Been reading his books too, spent a lot of my money and time on his supplements over the years, its insane. I sure hope you see where Im coming from distrusting so many businesses now days man. I really fell for this guy. Then Dr Weil was big back in the days AND Mercola of course. Mercola was selling some of the cheapest ingredients you can find for double the price claiming he personally uses them. Dr Weil actually had very very good turmeric drink before anyone even knew what turmeric was in like, i believe 2005? But he was fraud in many other instances so, i ditched him as well.

SO, beyond those bad experiences, I just want to tell you I have been researching and experimenting with mushrooms (even illegal ones) and I know for a fact, beta glucans are VITAL component, BUT, its the beneficial bacteria with each person individually having their own DNA imprint, thats how bacteria in our gut is too. We have no same bacteria! Its our DNA. Right there, in our Gut, our DNA. Very specific individual characteristic. And guess what? We all metabolize and deal differently with all things we consume in this world. Anything that might be good, might be working for you,…

I fell for Stamets, too. Host Defense was the first mushroom product I ever tried, waaaay back before I was even a moderator here. So I got duped, too. The mycelium on grain thing was what got me so pissed when I found out. It's one of the reasons I went down the mushroom rabbit hole to begin with. To then learn I was not even really taking mushrooms, and his products were insanely priced for the cheapest to make product?!? Ridiculous! I definitely get where the distrust is coming from.

I agree that the gut-brain-axis plays a bigger role in mood and cognition than most people realize. I almost died in India about a decade back. My blood pressure went to 70/40, and I woke up in an Indian hospital with tons of IVs in me. None of the nurses spoke English, and I had no idea what they were putting in me. Apparently they loaded me up with IV antibiotics. Well I don't have an appendix, since I had that taken out as a child. So those IV antibiotics completely destroyed my microbiome, and I had no appendix to reintroduce them. So for the next few years after that, I would get sick ALL the time. I would get sick 7-8 times a year, and be in bed convulsing and shivering for days. I went to many doctors, and ultimately saw an immunologist. This is where I first learned how much of a role the microbiome plays. I spent the next couple years trying to get my probiotics back in balance. Since doing so, I don't get sick anymore. Our Microbiome is crucial to our physical and mental health.

We don't have a newly developed cordyceps yet. We are still in the testing and R&D phase to figure out what is going on with cordyceps first. Then once we get a better idea of the full picture, we can start to develop improvements and see how they affect the effects. I am hoping to have some out later this year, though.

Why cordyceps from Nootropic Depot looks different?

Our 10:1 Cordyceps extract has no carriers, and is very hygroscopic. It pulls moisture from the air like crazy. It's pretty much at the upper limit for how much you can concentrate Cordyceps. So that's what you are seein
