And it is optimized for beta-glucan. That beta-glucan has no effect on NGF or cognition.
Is this true? If it is what a shame bc I just started my ND LM like 10 days ago.

Exactly this, there is a conspiracy here involving proped up companies and shadow accounts, they will attack ND by method of mass confusion and disinformation. Dont you think if that was true OP that ND would just change their formula and include it as a pure alcohol extract? This is one of the rare cases where the vendor is actually smarter than you so just trust him. MisterYouAreSoDUmb sent me over 20 rare studies on Cordyceps teaching me what it is before I purchased it. They know what they are doing better than you might, and even so they still keep an open ear and are not arrogant in their conversations with doubtful customers.

It's something I have dealt with for years. It's just the specific competitor, wording used, and things they attack change over time. The ones that were attacking me years ago no longer exist, and we are still here and stronger than ever. The same will happen here. It's hard to attack someone who is genuinely honest and competent. There have been some creative ways tried over the years, though! We also sell a LOT of different products. So we compete with a wide array of people. Mushrooms are just a small part of our overall business, but that is some people's entire offering. They live and die by whether people think their mushrooms are good. We don't. Buy them, don't buy them, it's no skin off my back. I'll let the science and facts speak for themselves. We'll circle back in another two years and see where things stand.
