Different shipping option experiences from Nootropics Depot to the EU/UK?

I'm thinking about putting in a ND order to the UK, but first I've been reading around and heard many different experiences about each of the shipping options. I'm mainly interested in: a) how long each one took; b) how much you had to pay in customs fees (particularly if ordering to the UK); and c) how large the order was.
I've got a general gist that standard can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks, whereas DHL is usually within 5 or so working days. DHL is substantially more expensive, but I wonder if differences in customs fees could help to elucidate which is most cost-effective. I've also heard of people sometimes avoiding customs fees with the USPS options, but haven't heard any reports of FedEx. Similarly, it'd be nice to know how order size effects these fees. Thanks!

Honestly I'm surprised this "DHL -> local post" works well for most. My experience with this shipping option has been really disappointing. I have had two ND packages and two Liftmode packages being non-delivered in the last few weeks. And there is no way to resolve the issue with the german postal system, you just have to wait and see if it's lost/stolen or if they send it back. Last time they took 3 months to send my ND package back as "undeliverable" without making any delivery attempt. Same address as always.
Is a european-based distributor still in the works? Otherwise I might have to try the expensive shipping options I guess.

You being in Germany makes things a bit more difficult. If you were in another EU country, it would be a different story. Since DHL Ecomemrce is based in Germany, and you are in Germany, they clear the package through German customs. That's the wrench in the equation for you. It sucks, but we have not figured out an alternate path for German customers yet. You guys are just such a huge economic/shipping hub. If we could get a global shipping company based in the Netherlands, then we would be in business! That is as long as it was just a pass-through.
An EU distributor is not currently in the works, but is something we still want to do. It just needs to be the right partner in the right EU country. Poland or the Czech Republic are the two we think would be the most doable. We tried the Netherlands, but the taxes killed it.
