Different shipping option experiences from Nootropics Depot to the EU/UK?

I'm thinking about putting in a ND order to the UK, but first I've been reading around and heard many different experiences about each of the shipping options. I'm mainly interested in: a) how long each one took; b) how much you had to pay in customs fees (particularly if ordering to the UK); and c) how large the order was.
I've got a general gist that standard can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks, whereas DHL is usually within 5 or so working days. DHL is substantially more expensive, but I wonder if differences in customs fees could help to elucidate which is most cost-effective. I've also heard of people sometimes avoiding customs fees with the USPS options, but haven't heard any reports of FedEx. Similarly, it'd be nice to know how order size effects these fees. Thanks!

I've ordered twice, both small orders (just one item). Both times used standard delivery and it took 7-10 days. No customs fees or other problems (it was phenibut).
Interestingly, both times they shipped using DHL and once it arrived in the UK, it had a German tracking code. Tracking it via royal mail showed it had arrived from Germany. It hadn't, it's just the code that's German so I wonder why they do that.

Our standard mail is DHL Ecommerce now. So DHL takes it most of the way, but hands it off to the various local countries postal systems. You get the speed and tracking of DHL, but the price and ease of clearance and delivery of something like USPS. We used to use USPS First Class as the standard option, but they stopped tracking packages internationally for First Class, and they started losing packages. So now we let DHL handle the first part, and then your local postal system handles the parts after. It's a good solution.
