Absolutely. Amphetamine can be neurotoxic in certain instances. That's usually dosage-dependent, but even long-term use of lower doses can lead to neurodegeneration. This seems to be especially true in younger people. [

The second link? I don't see that in the study. In any event, the point is that while acute use of dopaminergic drugs can certainly enhance oneself, they come at the risk of long-term damage to the dopaminergic system.

Well there seems to be a line that needs to be crossed in the amount of dopamine released that causes the issue. This is why most of the damage seen is dose-dependent. You don't see the damage in lower doses of amphetami

40mg Vyvanse once a week shouldn't be an issue. It's higher dosages, or much longer regular use, that seems to be an issue. I can't say for sure on the Semax front, but I doubt it.

Are you comparing it to racemic amphetamine, a mixture like Adderall, or just D-amphetamine? Because that's a big difference. The L-amphetamine is what gives it a lot of its "pushiness," so to speak.

Ohh, ephedrine is very different than amphetamine. That's more of a peripheral stimulant, rather than a CNS dopaminergic one. So you will certainly get more euphoria from something that increases dopamine in the CNS.
