I am trying to make my first purchase with Nootropics Depot. As you get 10% off as a first purchaser I decided I would stock up - to the amount of about $390 USD. I get this email a few days later, about noon'ish:

Thanks for your order! We have received payment on your order, however, our fraud protection software has flagged the order due to a recent amount of fraud. Because this is your first large order with us, our fraud prevention requires another step of verification. Typically this verification is handled by getting a scan of your identification, credit card used (you may redact all but the last four digits), and a copy of a utility bill that verifies your billing address. If we do not receive a response regarding the verification of your order by the end of the day, we will unfortunately have to cancel your order. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We've had over a hundred thousand dollars in attempted fraud over the past year.
Damn. I wonder what do they do with all those orders, whether they resell them or just do it to cancel credit card processors and kill competition.
What is the volume of people willing to pay with cryptocurrencies?

Many use it for themselves. Some resell it. At least one other has used products acquired using fraudulent cards from both us, and Powder City before they shut down, then used our powders to create his own nootropic formula. He is currently selling that formula under his brand. Make no mistake about it, certain people are trying underhanded tactics to shut competition down.

Not enough. Also, one of our banks shut us down for accepting cryptocurrency. That's apparently against bank policy now. Therefore, we cannot sell any crypto and deposit into US-based bank accounts anymore. So that's nice.
