The issue with Bromantane is that we cannot get our internal analytical testing methods to work. So we have been holding back the batch. I might just end up sending it off, till we can get our methods working.

Probably a couple weeks. We know it is Bromantane. There is just a little extra peak where an alcohol group would be. So there seems to be an alcohol-based solvent residue left over. We are just trying to quantify that,

Bad news. It's only 82.9% pure. I figured it would be, but had hoped for a different result. We are rejecting the batch and getting a new one in.

It's laziness and greed on the lab's part. Pure and simple. They get better yields if they purify it less. Less loss equals more profit. Most vendors don't test shit. So they get away with it most of the time.

It happens every month. We get impure shit all the time. I'm immune to it now. It's a waste of time and money, but part of the business. I can only imagine the impurities I ingested before I got into this myself.

We make the supplier replace it. We are big enough now to tell the suppliers what to do. In the beginning we got scammed and lost batches, though. If a supplier does not fix an issue for us now, we just stop using them.

We don't have an ICP-MS in-house. So we sent them off to Mérieux NutriSciences. That's who we use for heavy metals analysis. I'll get them to you when we have the results.
