MK-677 possibility?
Original post in this thread

Hello, I have used Ceretropic MK-677 and am absolutely in love with it. I read MYASDs comments on questions about this, but am still left on the dark. I really trust Ceretropics to deliver the best, and purchase nearly exclusively from them (and NootropicsDepot). Is there any possibility this will return to the stock? I know you mentioned that you stopped selling it for legal reasons and due to the impurity in the market. Please let me know what is going on with this, and if you have any recommendations for further use.

Any thoughts on this explanation for those of us too unfamiliar to make sense of it?

The 46% certainly does not refer to purity. Our ATR picks up very minor differences in chemical structure. So if there are impurities in there with very different functional groups, then that % difference will be amplified. 46% is waaaaay off, though. Anything under 85% is very wrong. The samples IRC sent directly to us were a much better match to Sigma's standard. I did not run HPLCs on any of the samples, though. The samples IRC sent directly to us could be pretty pure, based on the spectrums. The one their customer sent us is definitely not. Not sure why that is, and I cannot give you a concrete answer as to the % purity without running an HPLC. I brought up the possibility of contamination by the customer, but both IRC and the customer seem to not think that is the case. MK-677 has been the bane of my existence since Jan 2016. That's when all the labs suddenly started cutting corners.
IRC has been really open, though. They seem to be trying their hardest to ensure things are pure. Sometimes that is just not a simple task.
