Is it helping your business now that you can sell product on Amazon?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Ceretropic & Nootropics Depot

Sort of. Amazon takes a bunch of the sale in fees and commissions. So essentially our profit it cut in half, and then they charge us EXTRA storage fees, on top of their normal storage fees, for products that are slow movers. Since we do not participate in the shady "pay for review" schemes that literally everyone else does on Amazon, we don't get much exposure on there.

I mean look at our Pomella Powder Amazon listing. There is a single one star review from some asshat that got upset that is fucking 15g jar of Pomella only had 15g of powder.... He literally wrote us saying "I would be surprised if this jar even had an ounce of powder in it!" No shit, Sherlock! 15 grams is only .529 ounces!!! You literally bought half an ounce, then gave us a one star review because you got exactly what you ordered! So now it looks like we are not selling good products because we don't pay a bunch of other people to give us 5 star reviews to counteract the morons.

Amazon is actually a pretty horrible place for vendors to sell on; especially honest ones like us. If I spent a few thousand dollars to buy a bunch of reviews, we could get things rolling. However, I refuse to play that shady game; and I mean literally EVERYONE on there is playing it. If something has 100 reviews or more, they are compensated in some way. I guarantee it.
