Has anyone utilized DA agonists long term(>2 weeks)? What has been your experience with their effects on mood?

It has been shown that DA agonists have an effect on hedonic difficulties and depression. See below.

Any experiences?
Logically, DA agonists that are agonists both pre-synaptically and post-synaptically active will be aversive and generally shitty to begin with, that's a given. Sedation, fatigue, nausea are expected with DNsh agonism as these are autoreceptors that inhibit neurotransmission upon agonism. However, agonising D2L, for example, has been shown to be nootropic, mood enhancing, motivational and so forth. In-fact, there is a direct correlation between D2L expression and an array of pro-cognitive, mood and social effects. The problem with most DA agonists is an an affinity for both pre and post synaptic receptors. I speculate that upon down-regulation of the pre autoreceptors, with usage of >1 week, these drugs…

Not quite, I'm talking selective DA agonists with as little dirt as possible; Pramiprexole, Ropinirole and so forth.
The problem with Ergot derivatives is their selectivity is all over the place, look here for example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabergoline#Binding_profile.5B15.5D
Also, I've never understood the rationale of BBers who are on AAS(already quite demanding on the heart) to take things like Caber and Bromocriptine which are adrenergic and serotonergic. 5-HT2B agonism is no joke lol; it's directly implicated with cardiotoxicity and heart valve problems.
Your experience is correct though, as are the sides you listed and so on. (Did mention those in OP though, hehe.)
How long was your cycle? And the refractory effect is no joke, lol. Even LSD has that effect acutely with just single administration!
Honestly though, I think with the lack of selectivity, Caber can't be compared to the non-ergot agents. I think the Ergoline derivatives might have interesting long term effects if they down-regulate things like 5-HT2A, 2C and 1A(sh) through pro-longed agonism; this would serve as a DA disinhibitor as these receptors regulate DA. (Consider 'female viagra' for example; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flibanserin#Activity_profile - Anyone want to trial this? Sounds sick. Still under patent though - not cheap to buy. Sounds like a very good mood agent, Mirtazapine wit…

You're saying that I do the R, and you bring the D? Pro-bono, indeed.
