Ganoderma lucidum (Red Reishi)

I see plenty of anecdotal reports that this is excellent for anxiety and mood. Any actual information on this mechanism seems sparse. There's plenty of information on it's interaction with the immune system.

I took it for a few weeks and did seem to notice an improvement in mood. I'm wondering what effects Red Reishi could have on neurotransmitters. Mushrooms are still very new to me but they have me interested.

The only downside I report with Reishi is diminished libido from it's powerful DHT blocking effects.
Apart from that it is a fantastic herbal supplement that really grounds me.

I don't notice any libido lowering effects from it if I combine it with Shilajit and Cordyceps. The combination is actually a really effective one.

"technical" questions about ND's Gotu Kola and Reishi

Replying to faxmulder · Thanks man, I trust you and your team so I think I'll do a trial by combining gotu kola and reishi with tongkat, cordyceps and shilajit. This could be a quite balanced stack.

It definitely will be. Let me know how you like it after a week or so of taking it all.
