Ganoderma lucidum (Red Reishi)

I see plenty of anecdotal reports that this is excellent for anxiety and mood. Any actual information on this mechanism seems sparse. There's plenty of information on it's interaction with the immune system.

I took it for a few weeks and did seem to notice an improvement in mood. I'm wondering what effects Red Reishi could have on neurotransmitters. Mushrooms are still very new to me but they have me interested.

What they were answering

Sorry, I mashed several different thoughts together. I meant just Reishi. Do you have a preferred mushroom that has had the best effect for you?

I try every single product we sell at least once. I've tried all the mushrooms many times. I really like the Reishi. I prefer the 4:1 extract myself. However, my favorite mushroom extract is our Cordyceps, by far. It gives me great energy and focus throughout the day. I use the 1:1 daily, and the 10:1 on days when I workout harder. 500mg is my preferred dose of the 1:1, and I use 200mg of the 10:1. If I take too much Cordyceps, my stomach gets a little upset. So I keep the dosages lower and it works great!

My cordyceps congealed! Any way to rescue it? I haven’t gotten any water in it, I changed out the desiccant packets, but now it’s become a gooey lump. My Red Reishi purchased in the same order is still a powder, stored in the same conditions. What’s going on?

Holy crap! Water got in there somehow. Where was it stored?

Lion's Mane has been a godsend

Replying to saladon · It's awesome to see how much you're invested in the future of mushrooms. Are there any that you're still personally taking?

I think we are going to be doing some very cool things with mushrooms! I still use most of the mushrooms, just not every day. Cordyceps is still my favorite, but white jelly is fantastic to cycle in for skin health. Obv
