Quite a few people here are using them for their magnesium glycinate which ranked quite highly on labdoor. Might be worth watching this space to see if their formulations change.

Seeing as the impurity is ethyl acetate would it still be safe to consume? Or should I wait until the second impurity is determined?

No, don't consume it. The CDC says that repeated exposure of 4,450ppm resulted in damage to liver and kidneys in rabbits. That's only about .5%. The impurities our HPLC are seeing are about 3% each. I would not risk it.
