What exactly are Semax and Selank? What is their MOA for layman nootropic users?

And for a specific question, could they potentially protect opioid receptors from the long-term therapeutic use of Tianeptine?

Yeah, 24mg in one sub-Q dose. You have to remember that before I brought out Semax in vials, there was almost no information on it. You had to buy the 1% bottle for $180, and nobody knew what the dosages were. Everything was in Russian, and I had to ask a friend of a friend to translate some things for me. Then I had to calculate based off the 1%, and I admittedly screwed it up the first time, causing me to massively overestimate the dosage needed. So my very first dose of Semax was 24mg injected subcutaneously. I made a Reddit post about my screw up when it happened. You should be able to find it. Now that we have popularized Semax, and tens of thousands of people in the US have used it, that screw up might seem a bit silly. But back then I had little data to go off of, and just had to figure it out for myself. I was fine, and that's when I knew Semax was extremely well tolerate; even at high dosages.
