Thoughts on anti-aging supplement Elysium?

Nicotinamide Riboside and Pterostilbene, I was actually using this combo for Anti-Aging before Elysium was a thing. They got it right and the intellectual power and personnel behind their initiative is impressive to say the least. The real issue here is the cost and the questionable dosage of NR at that price. I suspect NR needs to be administered in gram amounts to see it's full potential, at this time it is cost prohibitive to buy NR in these amounts with current commercially available products. I'm REALLY hoping to see some of the vendors here /r/ceretropic or /r/powdercity carry NR at a reasonable* price. Maybe /u/misteryouaresodumb has already looked into it?

The patent holder for the fermented NR (Niagen) is keeping the price high. It's hard to be competitive on it. The other synthesis methods for NR are even higher than the price for the Niagen. So it is not feasible.
Also, I've tried Niagen from multiple vendors now, and do not notice anything. I've had a handful of other people try it too, and they noticed nothing. It's either only useful for a small subset of people, or is snake oil. Elysium is dumb regardless.
