Does anyone know if the Russian awakebrain phenibut is the FAA form or HCL?

I was getting phenibut HCL from powdercity in capsule form, now I'm trying it from awakebrain which is supposedly the genuine russian pharmaceutical stuff. It comes in tablets instead of capsules, and there's no information on the website about whether it should be taken sublingually and whether it's HCL or FAA. I've tried it sublingually once and it tasted like pure vitamin c tablets do basically. Sort of tasted sour and like vomit after awhile, but there was no burning like people describe when they take the HCL form that way. Still feasible I guess.

Interesting. Just curious, where did you find that info?

Comparative pharmacological activity of optical isomers of phenibut
Phenibut (3-phenyl-4-aminobutyric acid) is a GABA ( γ -aminobutyric acid)-mimetic psychotropic drug which is clinically used in its racemic form.
Racemic phenibut was obtained from Olainfarm, Latvia.
Look at all the packages of the phenibut pills being sold on Awake Brain, and you will see Olainfarm listed. That's the manufacturer in Latvia making them. Also, I've contacted a few labs in Russia to try and get bulk R-Phenibut for us to sell. No Russian labs make R-Phenibut. There is one in China that is making R-Phenibut, but has an exclusivity contract with a Russian research company. So they will not sell to me.
RU Pharma sells phenibut by ANVI, which is in Russia. That's called ANVIFEN. That's racemic too.
Bioequivalence of anvifen and phenibut
An open randomized crossover test on 18 healthy volunteers was used to study the pharmacokinetics of anvifen (acting substance, aminophenylbutyric acid) manufactured in capsules at the Joint-Stock Company "Antiviral" (Russia). The test was performed after single peroral administration in comparison with phenibut tablets of the same manufacturer. The concentration of unchanged aminophenylbutiric acid in the blood plasma was measured by HPLC with UV detection. It is established that anvifen and phenibut are bioequivalent in terms of pharmacokinetics.
They also sell one made in Belarus, but that is racemic too. I know RU Pharma claims they are selling the R-isomer. However, they have no data, testing, or even manufacturer statements to prove that. They don't test the pills at an in-house or 3rd party lab either. So we only have their personal statements, which are in disagreement with clinical and scientific studies, along with what I have been told by Russian labs that I had someone contact for me. I've been trying for over a year to get labs to synthesize R-phenibut for me, and no amount of money has made them budge. Even in that clinical study above, they had to synthesize their own R-phenibut for the study.
