Does anyone know if the Russian awakebrain phenibut is the FAA form or HCL?

I was getting phenibut HCL from powdercity in capsule form, now I'm trying it from awakebrain which is supposedly the genuine russian pharmaceutical stuff. It comes in tablets instead of capsules, and there's no information on the website about whether it should be taken sublingually and whether it's HCL or FAA. I've tried it sublingually once and it tasted like pure vitamin c tablets do basically. Sort of tasted sour and like vomit after awhile, but there was no burning like people describe when they take the HCL form that way. Still feasible I guess.

The "genuine Russian" pharma phenibut is racemic, not R-phenibut, and is actually made in Latvia. It's also the hydrochloride salt, just like everyone else selling the powder. It's not Russian, and is the same enantiomer and salt as the bulk powder being sold. The only place selling the free amino acid is LiftMode.
