Citicoline more active than GPC Choline?

I've read that Choline gives you a more active focus then GPC Choline. I don't mean the intensity of focus, but the energy. And when I saw Citicholine on a pre-workout supplement (along with Yohimbine HCL) I got to wonder if it is more effective for a pre-workout supplement and focus.

ah, I see. and yes that was the study I was referring too. I was unaware of the relation between acetylcholine and these downstream (correct word?) effects on various hormones. So it would seem that some cholinergic compounds could be a good thing before working out... GPC/Citicoline, ALCAR, and coffee as well (have read that caffeine has cholinergic effects).

Yeah, increasing ACh using various cholinergics can have beneficial effects on working out. A lot of bodybuilders use Huperzine A when lifting/doing cardio.
