Received order for Tianeptine Sodium and found awful nail polish-like taste!

Had to spit it out and email the vendor. First time I have ever had this issue with Tianeptine. Holding off on mentioning the vendor until I hear back from them, but they are new.
EDIT: No reason to downvote as this is pertaining to the entire community.
UPDATE: Looks like the vendor is aware that there is residual ethyl acetate in this batch that is obviously repulsive to anyone, but they claim it is at non-toxic levels. From now on, they state that they will perform "rotary evaporation" to get rid of the remaining ethyl acetate.

I'm not sure. It just tastes pretty bad and kind of burns my mouth/throat. Idk if that is normal. Bluebrainboost did it too, a while ago. So maybe it is normal for tianeptine or is everyone just sending out bad batches?

Well the tasting bad is normal. Burning not so much, but I could rule it as you describing it different than I do. However, the nail polish smell is not right. Without testing, there is no way to know for sure. We'll give them the benefit of the doubt, as I would like to think LiftMode would catch that. I'll test it to make sure, though.
There are only a couple labs making Tianeptine in the world, and there was just a huge shortage recently. I had bought up pretty much all the supply for a while, in anticipation of it, and labs tried to rush synths out to meet demand afterward. So I know for a fact that a handful of other vendors sent out impure batches in that time, trying to capitalize on the shortage. I did not think LiftMode was one of them, though.
