DMSO-Dihexa ocular/eyeball delivery

Original post in this thread

dihexa · 5 points

After using Dihexa through different ROIs (IM, oral, transdermal DMSO, through the nose) and at different doses, I am a little frustrated that I haven't had any real 'success'/'breakthroughs' with it (beside a few vivid dreams), unlike others, who have posted their positive results across several forums.

I'm interested in using DMSO (75%) to dissolve what I have left of this hydrophobic peptide and then deliver it ocullarly to achieve maximum bioavailability. Besides IV (which isn't an option for me), there doesn't appear to be any decent ROIs with high enough bioavailability. I can't find much (officially) about the safety of applying DMSO to the eyeballs, which is my major concern... beside this paper excerpt from 1968:

if any single fact has emerged from animal and human studies with DMSO to date, it is that the lens toxicity findings originally reported in dogs and later confirmed in certain other species have no equivalent or counterpart in human therapy utilizing DMSO in generally accepted regimens.

My solution of DMSO-Dihexa would be about 30 drops in total. That's 50mg of Dihexa diluted in ~30 drops of 75% DMSO-saline to then be dropped into my eye/s.

What do you…

What side effects? I could see this drug causing emotional hyperliquidity, like NSI-189 can tend to do.

Emotional issues were the most common I've seen. Headache and water retention were mentioned by a few people too.

Any novel compounds like Dihexa or NSI-189?

Replying to homosuperiorr · /u/MisterYouAreSoDumb could you elaborate?

Total lies. Man, they are coming out of the woodwork lately... P21 uses a very difficult amino acid to synth. We are the only ones that spent the time and money to make it, and we have an exclusivity contract with the

What happened to NSI-189?

Replying to Debonaire_Death · 14-15 mer? Shit. Of course it would be a difficult synth. Still, it's obviously the future of drugs. Do you know of any reliable literature about it? Also, what is the active dose

Dihexa looks to be about a 25mg dosage, based on rat studies. FGL is 30mg threshold, and 100mg ideal. I'd have to charge like $300/g for Dihexa. FGL is not even in the realm of possibility with the pricing I am currently

N. DEPOP NEEDS to look into things that work on EAAT2 glutamate pump expression in central nervous system, therefore reducing glutamate toxicity.

Replying to chutney1 · Interesting, digging into IEG expression now. Thank you for the pointer there, not sure I would have stumbled upon this otherwise. Are there any stacks you would recommend to som

I don't really have a proven answer, unfortunately. We are still learning about IEG expression. Perhaps this EAAT2 targeting will prove to be a workable strategy. We are certainly missing some big piece of the picture wi

I'm sure you know it is a lot harder than just asking a lab to make a compound. It's like pulling teeth to get these labs to take on new synths that might not work out. I've been working for almost 3 years on that Modafi
