Nootropics of the future: 10 Year Fast Forward

Very interested to hear peoples opinions on what the nootropic market will look like in 5-10 years. Many of the substances may well exist now, and with the crowdsourcing of stacks, effect profiles etc the nootropics being used could be a significant improvement on what's available/being used today.
Curious to hear peoples thoughts on effects of these future noots, mechanisms of action (affecting gene expression? Rather than the constant battle against homeostasis), purposes etc...

Haha, I figured. That is why Heroin reaches the brain faster than morphine. The acetyl groups facilitate it passing the blood brain barrier better than just morphine alone. Then it deacetylates into Morphine, allowing it to bind to the opioid receptors.
An acetyl group is a functional group on a molecule that contains a methyl (CH3) single bonded to a carbonyl (carbon double bonded to an oxygen). That acetyl group allows for molecules to pass lipid membranes, like the blood brain barrier, more easily.
