Nootropics of the future: 10 Year Fast Forward

Very interested to hear peoples opinions on what the nootropic market will look like in 5-10 years. Many of the substances may well exist now, and with the crowdsourcing of stacks, effect profiles etc the nootropics being used could be a significant improvement on what's available/being used today.
Curious to hear peoples thoughts on effects of these future noots, mechanisms of action (affecting gene expression? Rather than the constant battle against homeostasis), purposes etc...

I certainly hope that regulation, if it does have to happen, comes later on down the line, so I can prepare my stock of Semax and assorted racetams for the End Times.
And as the feds break down my door, I will greet them sitting at my desk, a heap of Noopept piled in front of me, the white powder surrounding my nose and mouth.
"Say hello to my little friend!" I will yell. As the feds begin firing at me, I will lift my laptop above my head, attempting to show them my Mendeley library of articles on nootropics, or my in-progress neuroethical treatise on nootropics, but alas, to no avail. Bullet after bullet shall rip through my pudgy, pasty body, and I will fall to the ground.
Upon autopsy, they will see that there were tragically high levels of blood in my Semax stream.

I'm pretty sure they'd come for me first.
