Ceretropic Caffeine/NALT crystallization
Original post in this thread

I recently bought some Caffeine/NALT from Ceretropic and the solutions is full of long stick-like crystals, even after shaking it very thoroughly.
The crystals get bunched up and stuck at the bottom of the dropper and there's always a varying amount of these crystals in every dropper.
I did not hear anyone describe this in the Caffeine/NALT thread so I'm posting this here. Any idea if this is normal?

It actually looks really cool if it's intended.

Yeeeeah, so we added some powdered vanilla flavoring last minute, to try and take the bite off the tail end of the flavor. I think that was a mistake. It seems to be causing some bottles to recrystallize. We did that because our flavoring lab suggested it. I am not sure they were thinking about stability, so much as the flavor profile. I even had a test bottle that had been stable on my desk for 4 months. I added some of the new flavoring into it for shits and giggles, and it is now recrystallizing. We are in the lab right now trying to fix it. I will get you a new bottle when we fix it.
I swear, this solution is going to drive me insane! I think we have 20 test bottles of it on our reception desk. We even did heat/cold stability testing, and even pushed one bottle to 500*F, to see how it would affect it. That damn flavoring, though. I'll fix it. I may go insane doing it, but I will fix it.
