Ceretropic Caffeine/NALT crystallization
Original post in this thread

I recently bought some Caffeine/NALT from Ceretropic and the solutions is full of long stick-like crystals, even after shaking it very thoroughly.
The crystals get bunched up and stuck at the bottom of the dropper and there's always a varying amount of these crystals in every dropper.
I did not hear anyone describe this in the Caffeine/NALT thread so I'm posting this here. Any idea if this is normal?

It actually looks really cool if it's intended.

I've noticed some very tiny bits of crystallization around the rim of the bottle but nothing like that. MYASD is gonna be disappointed :( How were you storing it? I've kept mine at room temp.

That is not recrystallization on the rim. That is just the powder drying as the water evaporates. Recrystallization is when is actually forms long crystals, like in OP's picture. The dried powder around the rim is just dried powder. It happens with L-theanine too. Water solutions do that, because the water evaporates, and leaves the powder behind.
I have a new test bottle in the fridge right now, and another test batch in bottles and beakers in the lab. We took out the powder that we think is causing the issue, and are going to monitor them for a bit. I am going to keep the solution off the site for now, till we are sure the issue has been rectified. If yours starts to crystallize like OP, just let me know. But that dried powder on the rim is not an issue. Just wipe it off with a damp cloth.
