Has memantine actually helped you?

Do you take memantine, and for what do you take it? Has it helped you?
I'm having a hard time titrating upwards from 10mg without getting brain fog and the feeling of detachment. Is 10mg sufficient to counter stimulant tolerance or do I have to go all the way up to 30mg?
Thanks.

I'm at 10mg a day and nicotine from my vaporizer is great, noticeably better than before. I use pretty small amounts, though, and generally don't use on consecutive days, or redose too much.
Were the negative effects regardless of dose? Nicotinic receptor upregulation would greatly increase the potency, no?

See, I was using nicotine every day, and multiple times per day. That did not seem to play nicely with the Memantine at all. Low occasional use should be potentiated by it. Regular use made the initial side effects too much.
