Phenibut destroys my depression. Why not daily?

People wean off this drug with success, similarly to SSRIs.
Looking at the withdrawal of SSRIs, it's no less risky to withdraw from Phenibut.
Why is this substance deemed high risk, when it's very effective for depression/anxiety?
Is there another reason it shouldn't be dosed daily, besides the withdrawal effects?

So you sampled some of both compounds and noticed acute effects?

No, the lab did sample synths, but did not send me any to try out. I have not tried either compound myself. I am only going off studies and anecdotes from people that have tried other sources.
