Phenibut destroys my depression. Why not daily?

People wean off this drug with success, similarly to SSRIs.
Looking at the withdrawal of SSRIs, it's no less risky to withdraw from Phenibut.
Why is this substance deemed high risk, when it's very effective for depression/anxiety?
Is there another reason it shouldn't be dosed daily, besides the withdrawal effects?
Thank you

Have you looked into the MAOIs at all? Particularly Nardil, in your case, as it has the unique property of having a metabolite, phenylethylidenehydrazine, which acts as a GABA-transaminase inhibitor. The GABA-T inhibition causes an increase in GABA levels throughout the brain and body. Read some of the user/patient reports on the various forums which discuss social anxiety. It seems like it can be one of the "game changers" for many people.
Obviously, do your research before you take it upon yourself to self-medicate with Nardil. I've read that many of the diet restrictions affiliated with the classic irreversible MAOIs are overstated. If you are seeing a psychiatrist, you'll probably have a hard time convincing him/her to write you a script for it, unless he/she is more open minded. Its more than likely to be seen as a huge liability for most doctors and they will not prescribe it unless all other less risky options have been exhausted. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Good luck.

Both our phenylethylidenehydrazine and phenylzine synths failed when scaling to production batchs. I was really excited about them too...
