I feel like getting to the point where we can upload ourselves into computers will be easier than figuring out how to not be depressed that you no longer have your original body. Being in a computer (or synthetic body) thinking about how your body is rotting in the ground would be weird. Would we still have gravestones for our original bodies? Of course I would be willing to give it a try, immortality sounds nice.
