What if your physical nervous system could be sustained indefinitely by technology while sacrificing the rest of your body but maintaining visual and auditory sensory input? Would you consider sticking around for a few decades to see what happens?

Maybe. I would consider it. That all depends on what is going on in the world, and if I still have loved ones around. If there are religious wars going on, and my friends and family are all dead, fuck no. However, if humans get their heads out of their primitive asses, and we are exploring the universe, and making scientific breakthroughs, I might stick around to see what goes on. There are too many variables to give it appropriate thought at the moment.
