Do you know how long its necessary to abstain from stims while on Memantine? Should it be until the target/most effective dose is reached? And does that mean no caffeine either?

Some people use them at the same time, just to keep tolerance at bay. If you are trying to reverse tolerance that has already built up, then it takes time. I would say at least a few weeks, if not more. It depends on how bad your tolerance is.
