Since it is uncontrolled in the U.S., it is being sold as a nootropic, but it sometimes fall under as TCA (tricyclic antidepressant) and as analgesic affecting the opioid receptor.

Forgetting dynamics, because that was speculation on my part, the kinetics alone could be responsible for tianeptine's abuse potential.
650mg/day works out to a little more than 4 150mg doses. 150mg of tianeptine would knock most people on their ass. 150mg of morphine may kill some people, and I never claimed tianeptine as anywhere near as potent as any fentanyl derivative. There is a lot that is not known. Perhaps, like mitragynine, tianeptine causes less respiratory depression and thus and overdose may be less likely to result in death. I don't know. People abusing tianeptine are moron, I agree. What is the highest dose of tianeptine you have personally taken?

I've taken 50mg in a single dose, to see what people were talking about. I am not going higher than that, because the 50mg dose was lackluster as it was. The beauty of Tianeptine is in low dosages. Just a nice low-level mood increase, with little to no side effects.
I thought you said: "In my own research, tianeptine completely substituted for butryfententanyl and acetylfentanyl in mice."
That's where I was getting the acetylfentanyl statements from. When you say completely substituted, what do you mean by that? How did you measure it?
