Tianeptine abusers- Another reason your misuse may affect responsible consumers

I will remove this post in a few days as not to crud up the search engine with things related to abuse of tianeptine. Perhaps this is commn sense and should go without saying, but this was an interesting thought:
We some places in the US are starting to pull Tianeptine, and some places are running out of it. A lot of people speculate that it was caused by the 2014 study that tianeptine is a MOR and DOR agonist (albeit very mild) and Tianeptine is also a drug with some known abuse potential. This could be part of the reason why. Obviously there are legal repercussions could in theory happen (example someone stupid would overdose). But other substances like Kratom and Phenibut are very widely available in the US, sold by many companies.
But it could also be because the owners of nootropics sites know that they are selling ridiculous amounts to one person and they obviously have a problem. Granted, it may go unnoticed at first but after you keep selling it in large amounts to the same people isn't that going to bother them? It brings up a moral dilemma then really. I think that it's part of the reason people are backing out
Again im not talking down to anyone, but we should c…

Person 'A' uses something, and believes they are entitled to the right to be using said something how they see fit.
Another person 'B' uses that same thing, believing they are also entitled to the right to use that something how they see fit as well.
One of these people thinks their way is the way, because they wouldn't use it any other way. They believe that, even though they deserve to use said thing how they see fit, nobody else deserves to use it how they see fit if it's different from their way.
They attack and suppress the other person and their habits, when they themselves are afraid of someone doing the exact same thing to them about their habits!
Can you tell which person 'uses' and which one 'abuses'? The only real difference is that one puts themselves up on a pedestal, preaching the good word and banishing the sinners to the depths from whence they came, fire and brimstone. Silliness.
I was using tianeptine for a few months, to get high, because that's how I function. It got old, so I stopped. I have a highly addictive personality and a history of addiction, yet I am fine. The world is still here today, but tianeptine may not be tomorrow. That has nothing to do with me, or my actions.
People are going to do whatever they are going to do. Nobody can really tell them what they should be doing, at least in a way that they will reliably listen to.

Treatment of diagnosed depression is completely different than recreational drug use. I think everyone should be able to use whatever they want, for whatever purpose they want. However, we live in the real world, with the FDA and DEA as our enemies most of the time. So we have to realize that we cannot view our actions in a perfect world sense, but in a pragmatic sense. That means that some people are going to have to suck it up, and act like adults, so the people that really need this drug can continue to have access to it.
You don't see the countless emails I get from people saying they had lost hope, and were about to kill themselves after everything their doctors tried had failed. Then they found tianeptine, and are on the road to living with their depression; and even pulling themselves out of it. I've had so many people on the verge of tears thanking us for offering tianeptine. Their long emotional posts delving deep into their lives, explaining how this was the turning point for them. It really strikes a chord with me, since I too almost killed myself on a number of occasions when battling depression. This is not self-entitlement. These are stories from your fellow man, that were on the verge of ending it.
Listen, I use recreational drugs too. I get that in a perfect world, we would all be free to choose to take whatever we wanted, and not have our decisions affect other people's lives. However, this is the real world. There are people going through things that need help. I think putting aside our desire to get high off certain substances is the adult thing to do, so that we can ensure easy access to those that really need it. This is not entitlement. This is being a decent human being.
