Experience Report: P21 is pretty alright.

I can't put a finger on it, but after injecting 2mg SID for a week something is happening. I've cycled through a plethora of nootropics - the classic common varietals, obscure/exotic flavors old and new, and many of the pharmaceuticals that could be construed as such - but this is unique. Granted I've never tried Cerebrolysin given my aversion to IM injection and the volume necessary to achieve significant effects, but P21 is relatively unparalleled in my experience base thus far. Subjectively the closest comparable compound I've sampled is Semax, but P21 is more akin to my lofty, unfulfilled expectations of NSI-189 if anything. There's a lucid clarity to thought processes and augmentation of cognitive stamina resembling Semax, but P21 seems to significantly enhance my memory and linguistic abilities while incorporating a subtle, gradual mood lift as time has progressed. It's also less physically stimulating than Semax. If I had to try and nail it down, a low dose cocktail of Semax, Hydergine, and Oxiracetam is the most similar state I've achieved subjectively, but that's still a fairly poor approximation. P21 has maintained its effects throughout the day, has progressively incr…

Just read the description on your site. I'm curious, if you would be so inclined to explain, how exactly did you go about reverse-engineering Cerebrolysin to determine what compound to create? I read that you used epitope mapping to determine the primary binding site for Cerebrolysin. After learning that it was the CNTF binding site, how did you determine that P21 should be the compound, in particular, that should be used for best results? Simply due to P21 having the highest binding affinity? Did you explore whether or not P21 has been found to bind to other sites as well beyond CNTFr, potentially confounding the mechanism explained for its benefits? And lastly, is P21 seen to be a molecule contained in cerebrolysin, or a molecule simply derived from Cerebrolysin's mechanism of action?

It'd be awesome if you could answer these questions for me :) Thanks!

Ohh, we did not reverse engineer Cerebrolysin to create P21. That was done by the Department of Neurochemistry at the NYS Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities. They figured out the mechanism of action leading to the positive effects from Cerebroylin, then used epitope mapping to create a more efficient ligand for the CNTF receptor. They then tested multiple compounds, including P21, in rat studies. They did behavioral, object recognition, and spatial memory tests, along with measuring neurogenesis, and P21 performed the best.

P21 is not in Cerebrolysin. However, there are a couple peptides that are similar to P21, which also bind to CNTF. Blockage of CNTF eliminated the nerogenic effects from Cerebrolysin, which indicated that was the main mechanism.

IT'S HERE!!!! P21

Anyone experimented with THT's CNTF fragment 147-150?

No!!!! You can't just say, "Ohh, the active sequence in P21 is DGGL, so let's just sell powdered DGGL!" Pharmacodynamics do not work like that! That would be like saying, "Ohh dopamine is good. Let's sell powdered dopami

[High Risk] Has anybody tried P21 yet? It's supposed to be a better version of Cerebrolysin.

Replying to FW900 · Probably safer than Cerebrolysin. No concerns over prions, less risk injecting it subcutaneously vs IM or IV, not loaded with vitamins. This would be perfect to have as a spray bo

It was enchanted by a woodland fairy. No, it was based off the mechanism of Cerebrolysin. They found out CNTF mediated the neurogenetive effects of Cerebrolysin, then used epitope mapping to find the most potent sequenc
