I can't put a finger on it, but after injecting 2mg SID for a week something is happening. I've cycled through a plethora of nootropics - the classic common varietals, obscure/exotic flavors old and new, and many of the pharmaceuticals that could be construed as such - but this is unique. Granted I've never tried Cerebrolysin given my aversion to IM injection and the volume necessary to achieve significant effects, but P21 is relatively unparalleled in my experience base thus far. Subjectively the closest comparable compound I've sampled is Semax, but P21 is more akin to my lofty, unfulfilled expectations of NSI-189 if anything. There's a lucid clarity to thought processes and augmentation of cognitive stamina resembling Semax, but P21 seems to significantly enhance my memory and linguistic abilities while incorporating a subtle, gradual mood lift as time has progressed. It's also less physically stimulating than Semax. If I had to try and nail it down, a low dose cocktail of Semax, Hydergine, and Oxiracetam is the most similar state I've achieved subjectively, but that's still a fairly poor approximation. So, is P21 meant to improve depression like NSI-189? I'm really interested in NSI because of those reasons, but the side effects seem a bit troubling.

It's more for neurogenesis. However, I do get increased mood while on it. I have a feeling it increases serotonin synthesis. I never really got much from NSI-189, but some people really like it.
