PHARMACEUTICALS
Drug development has gotten slower and more expensive.
We’d like to fund companies doing this in new ways. We take a broad view of this–we’re interested in things that may not become prescription drugs but still really help people. Areas like nootropics seem under explored.

Maybe Ceretropic wants to apply to YC? :-)
To be serious, they are probably looking for companies that are more into drug development then selling chemicals to people on the internet, but its still a very interesting tidbit. Although, "disrupting" pharmacies anyone?

What kind of attention is Ceretropic attracting (or trying not to attract), isn't everything done completely legal?

Not a whole lot of issues so far. We have had shipments seized by the FDA, but nothing more than that. However, the more you get on their radar, the more risk of them digging deeper. Legality is a grey area. I'm sure the FDA could make our lives hell if they wanted to. We do not want to give them a reason to want to.
