Is purchasing Adderall or methylphenidate from an online pharmacy a bad idea?

I see some online pharmacies that sell Adderall. Is it a bad idea to purchase it? How about generic methylphenidate?

I don't see how it can be legal, but I've seen online sites and pharmacies sell it.

I used to be prescribed it in school around 10 years ago and I'm considering going back on it. But before shelling out for a doctor's appointment, I want to take it for a week or so to see if it's still something that helps my productivity.

Well as you can see, even us moderators do not fully agree on the use of the term nootropic. It's too grey of an area to get everyone to agree. I do think there should at least be some discussion around where the term came from. And I certainly think that person that keeps deleting the section from Wikipedia should stop. But I do not think we should really worry too much about it. People are going to evolve words over time, whether everyone agrees or not.
