The examine page offers the above clarification ;-) and describes "a wide variety of health benefits," but searching the archive here yields a small number of postings and mixed opinions. Am mostly interested in it for potential nootropic and/or mood effects. Anyone tried it? Benefits/side effects? In combination with other supps? Seems interesting but I can't tell how much bang for the buck.

Taurine is a great supplement to add into a stimulant stack. I always add a gram in when I take ephedrine. It helps protect the cardiovascular system from energy depletion and damage. I personally do a modified version of the ECA stack. It's ephedrine HCL, caffeine, taurine, L-arginine, and L-theanine. Works like a charm, and there is much less stress on your system than taking just ephedrine and caffeine.
