Best time to take phenibut?

Original post in this thread

I'm going out tomorrow night, just wondering what would people recommend as the best time to dose phenibut? I'm still experimenting with it, and have had mixed results. I was thinking of just .500 grams a couple of hours before going out, but I'm wondering would it be worth taking .500 before bed tonight, the same in the morning, and the same before going out?

Also interested in hearing how people dose phenibut in general, do you topup during the day or just take one dose either in the morning or evening and thats it?

Thanks

Would love to hear more if you have time to kill. I love me some phenibut, but I don't dare take it more frequently than 1x/7-10 days, so I've been looking for something with similar effects that I can take more frequently. L-theanine is at the top of my list right now.

Kava could be an option for you. It up-regulates GABA-A receptors. It actually sensitizes over time, rather than builds a tolerance.

Ashwagandha is an adaptopgen, and helps modulate your GABA system without building tolerance. It's nice to add in with stimulants to help regulate your adrenergic system.

L-theanine is a go-to supplement. It's cheap and easy, and increases your natural GABA production in the brain.

Green tea has L-theanine, but not in the dosages you would need. If you really have bad stage fright, then a stronger GABAeric might be needed. Phenibut can be used for this. Also, kava can help too. Apart from that, you

Haha, such a first world problem! Golf tournament anxiety. You could also try adding in L-theanine or valarian root. Adaptogens like ashwagandha would help too, and would have less side effects than phenibut.
