On those mornings when my routine includes half a peach tab I know it will be a good work day

He said that he took a self-assessment that suggested he might have some of the symptoms of ADHD which. I assumed that the doctor who prescribed it gave him a diagnosis but it indeed seems like he just said he wanted it for "focus" and got a script.

Maybe I am overreacting. I just see so many articles playing down the use of dopaminergic stimulants. I also see doctors handing them out in dangerous amounts. My friend, who does have ADHD, is given 120 dextroamphetamine pills a month! Then his doctor gives him 30 2mg Xanax bars to help him sleep. Obviously my friend does not use even half his D-amp script, and doesn't even touch the Xanax. However, the fact that doctors are handing these stimulants out so easily is crazy!
