On those mornings when my routine includes half a peach tab I know it will be a good work day

Am I missing something here? It sounds like he believes he has ADHD and is prescribed Adderall by his doctor. How is treating a medical condition similar to someone smoking meth?

To quote him:
The Adderall addition to my routine started three years ago, after I happened upon 60 Minutes one evening and caught a segment titled “Boosting Brain Power.” It was an examination of the Adderall epidemic on college campuses nationwide, and I found myself quickly drawn into it.
He was not diagnosed with ADHD, then given medication to counteract it. He saw Adderall on a 60 Minutes special, then found a doctor to prescribe it to him. He also says he only takes it 2-3 days a week, for a boost. That is not how ADHD works. It just seems like another article that encourages the use of amphetamine too lightly. People will read this article and then go out and seek a doctor to prescribe it for them too.
