Lamotrigine is a sodium channel blocker, and seems to affect L,N, and P-type calcium channels. That could be why you are a little fuzzy. It looks like Lamotrigine acts mainly pre-synaptically on sodium channels, which reduces the release of glutamate. A positive allosteric modulator of the AMPA/NMDA receptors could help.
I would start small with piracetam. Then you can move up in strength from there.
