Coluracetam discussion: sublingual vs oral?

Original post in this thread

lynxon · 10 points

I'm surprised at the lack of discussion on coluracetam going on! It's been out for a little while now (a week or two?) from New Star Nootropics and Nootropics Depot.

What do you all, who've acquired it, think about coluracetam?

Do you think oral or sublingual dosing is more effective?

What doses have you been using?

How are the effects?

Personally, I have been doing between 10-15mg both sublingually and orally. I can't discern which is the more effective method. Oral seems to potentially last a bit longer, but is likely more subtle. As far as the effects go I would say I'm not quite sure how much cognitive benefit I've had, however what I have noticed is that, overall, I'm happier! There is a notable amount of sociability and anxiolytic‎ benefit. When I think back about my day and previous days, I notice that I have a more positive outlook.

This is all subjective and I can't rule out placebo, but it's been my experience thus far regardless.

I apologize as I'm sure you're getting asked this everywhere, but when do you guys plan on getting more in?

Also, are you still using it in combination with Alpha-GPC?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · Ceretropic

I hope very soon. We are using a different supplier now that is trusted. So we should not run into the supply issues we've been having.

I've used it with Alpha-GPC, but it is not necessary. I need to be careful on my dosages with choline precursors, as I get depressive symptoms after taking too much. The coluracetam seems to help balance that out, though.

Yeah, coluracetam seems to improve some people's mood, but dampen others. You might give it one last shot with some Alpha GPC, since it is a strong ACh uptake enhancer.

Those are pretty low dosages. I use 20mg of coluracetam usually. CDP-choline seems to be the worst for me so far. It gives me depressive symptoms like clockwork. Low doses of alpha-GPC seem to be ok.
