Coluracetam Causing Depression?
Original post in this thread

I've read great things about coluracetam so I decided to try it out. I should say that I've been going through some difficult times personally but had been dealing with them okay. I've been using coluracetam at 15 mg twice a day and since I've been doing that my mood has gone from slightly down to borderline suicidal. When I've taken choline supplements in the past I felt roughly the same. Does it make sense that coluracetam could have the same effect? I realize this is confounded by my personal issues but I appreciate any input from people more educated on this topic than me. Thanks in advance.

My reaction to coluracetam was initially beneficial and beyond what I would consider to be placebo, but with repeated trials it became predominantly negative. Had a similar response to citicoline. Having recently picked up a habit for nicotine in the form of e-cigs I am wondering if it carries a similar risk.
I am also thoroughly enjoying tianeptine, but am donating my current stock to a bipolar friend who I believe needs it more than I.

Those are pretty low dosages. I use 20mg of coluracetam usually.
CDP-choline seems to be the worst for me so far. It gives me depressive symptoms like clockwork. Low doses of alpha-GPC seem to be ok.
