About time someone didn't go to extremes. I made 2x the average family income at the age of 16, thanks to my output and hard work. If an Asian can program better than I can at a lower wage, I wouldn't have a job...

I think people making the arguments have never worked with outsourced workers, or do not understand the complexity that some people's jobs entail. The guy above saying that anyone's job can be outsourced for cheaper, is a total fool.

While I agree, the poverty line here in the US is slightly higher than many countries. I've seen things in Egypt, Mexico, India, Africa etc. that are on a whole other scale.

This is what I was thinking. Perhaps the cycles will shift or change entirely, given our new ability to transfer knowledge faster. Why do the cycles always have to be the same, or happen at all, regardless of innovation
