Noopept gave me a seizure.

(Throwaway because I have family who are on Reddit and I don' t want them to worry.)

I took Noopept for the first time this weekend. Within 10 minutes of my first dose (15 mg) I had a full body seizure. It felt like forever but it was probably only 15 seconds, and it was terrifying. Every muscle in my body tightened up to the point where I was actually stiff the next day (especially my jaw, for some reason). Needless to say, I'm done with Noopept and won't be trying any other racetams. I've never had a seizure before. I bought the Noopept from a respected seller mentioned here and have no reason to believe it was tainted or not authentic.

Anyway, be careful out there when taking non-FDA tested chemicals. You never know what unreported or underreported side effects they may have on you.

Was it an oral dose? 10 minutes is not enough time to reach high enough plasma concentrations via oral administration to cause an issue.

Dipeptide analogs of piracetam, noopept, sulpiride,... exhibiting far superior potency and specificity to their putative mechanisms.

They are not talking about analogs of noopept. Noopept IS the analog they are discussing. The other compounds are not analogs of piracetam, either. They took inspiration from some of the functional groups, but they are V
