Is modafinil tolerance reversible?

I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with modafinil Torrance. Can it ever go back to the level that it was when you first took it, and if so, how long does it take?
I have only recently just started taking it, but I'm afraid I may have permenantly damaged my tolerance by binging on 800mg.

When I was experimenting with high doses of EGCG daily (around 1-2g), I noticed I became almost completely tolerant to Modafinil.
Whereas 100 would usually have me wide-awake for 15 hours, 200 barely affected me during my EGCG-"protocol".
I also read somewhere that EGCG induces CYP450/CYP3A4.
Could there be a connection? (Meaning my CYP3A4 was upregulated from heavy EGCG-supplementation, increasing my tolerance to Modafinil)
After cessation of supplementation with EGCG, my tolerance for modafinil was significantly lower.

It's an interesting theory, but I don't believe that EGCG has any meaningful effect on CYP450 enzymes.

We conclude that repeated green tea catechin administration is not likely to result in clinically significant effects on the disposition of drugs metabolized by CYP enzymes.
