Is modafinil tolerance reversible?

I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with modafinil Torrance. Can it ever go back to the level that it was when you first took it, and if so, how long does it take?

I have only recently just started taking it, but I'm afraid I may have permenantly damaged my tolerance by binging on 800mg.

800mg?!? Why did you do that?

Modafinil tolerance is not fully understood yet. However, usually you will not have permanent tolerance unless you actually damaged a neuronal system. Given what we know about the mechanisms, I do not think 800mg would be enough to cause permanent damage, but I am not 100% certain.
